An established NPO is seeking for an experienced professional to head up the organisation, setting its strategic direction, as well as managing the day-to-day operations. 

Reporting to the Executive Committee, and leading a sizable team and volunteers, you will be responsible for defining and leading the execution of objectives, goals and strategies; and ensuring effective governance of the organisation.  You will be developing new services to meet the ever-changing service demand as well as identifying challenges and opportunities; managing partnerships to foster growth of the organisation and the well-being of its service users.  You will also be responsible for financial management, budget planning, and general operations like monitoring and managing grants and programmes and ensuring the delivery meeting the requirements of the funding bodies; and staff management and etc. 

The ideal candidate should be a degree holder in a related discipline, with at least 15 years of professional experience, at least 5 years of which in a leadership and management role.  Candidates should have some NPO work experience and with proven track record in applying for funding from the government and various funding bodies.  You are expected to have strong financial acumen and project management knowledge.  A strong and confident public speaker with excellent relationship management skill.  Experience in organising PR and fundraising events and in social media marketing is preferred.  Strategic mindset and exceptional leadership skills, be empathetically strong and highly committed in serving the community.  Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese is mandatory.
