Barbara Yeung – Corporate Affairs and Sales & Marketing Practice

Barbara joined the executive search and selection industry in mid 2005, focusing on recruiting middle-to-senior functional positions in PR & Communications and Sales & Marketing. This functional focus has enabled her to work across multiple industries in Hong Kong and southern China region as well as to gain insights on the personalities and various skill sets required for different roles and able to identify the right calibre of candidates for clients.

Barbara has developed her search career progressively, holding senior positions in leading international US and Australian listed search firms. At Hudson, where she spent the majority of her search career in, Barbara was responsible for building and managing the Sales & Marketing and Industrial practice. She was the winner of the Asia Chairman’s Award – Best Consultant of the Year, when she was only in her second year in the industry.

Prior to joining the search industry, Barbara gained extensive experience working as a Marketing & Communications professional for several multi-national companies in Hong Kong and Australia for over 15 years. Majority of her experience was in the banking & financial services sector in Hong Kong as well as a direct marketing agency in Australia.

Barbara holds a Master of Arts (in Translation and Interpreting) and a Bachelor of Business (double major in Marketing and Management) from the Macquarie University, Sydney and Monash University, Melbourne, Australia respectively. Barbara is also accredited to administer and interpret international psychometric assessment tools.
